Migrant Helpline CRB Check

It is MHL policy to ask all volunteers to apply for Criminal Records Bureau disclosure.

This is a routine procedure at many volunteer-involving organisations aimed to protect the organisation, its clients, employees and volunteers from unacceptable risk.

Having a criminal record does not mean you cannot volunteer with Migrant Helpline. Some convictions may however mean that volunteers have a restricted choice of volunteering opportunities.
