Migrant Helpline One Stop Service

The One Stop Service provides support and advice to asylum seekers and refugees resident in Kent and East Sussex. The service is based in six locations throughout the region. Often described as the "Citizens Advice Bureaux for Refugees", the service can offer assistance on a wide range of issues, including:

• Finding suitable housing
  
  
• Liaising with other agencies, i.e. Social Services
  
  
• Accessing English language classes
  
  
• Assisting in voucher and support enquiries
  
  
• Accessing legal representatives
  
  
• Helping access training and employment initiatives
  
  
• Assisting in finding school places for children
